So I asked myself, how could you dress a candy so that it looked like a spider? The idea came and this tutorial shows how I went about it.<\/p>\n<p>What you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>styrofoam balls or half-ball shaped candy<\/li>\n<li>utility knife<\/li>\n<li>thin black paper<\/li>\n<li>fluffy wire aka pipe cleaner<\/li>\n<li>very fine wire<\/li>\n<li>sharp scissors<\/li>\n<li>wobbly eyes<\/li>\n<li>small glue dots (to attach the eyes)<\/li>\n<li>big glue dots (to attach the legs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-384\" src=\"http:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blogwp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"443\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_08.jpg 590w, https:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_08-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re going to use candy, as I originally did, you&#8217;ll have to find one that has a shape of a half-ball (I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orioncokolada.cz\/vyrobky\/pralinky\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>, but you can only get that in the Czech Republic or Slovakia). However, it turned out people didn&#8217;t want to eat the candy because they didn&#8217;t want to destroy the spiders, so I offered that they eat it and I&#8217;d re-do their spider with styrofoam.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re going to use styrofoam, cut the balls into halves with a utility knife.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-385\" src=\"http:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blogwp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"443\" srcset=\"https:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_09.jpg 590w, https:\/\/helenvader.eu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pavuciky_09-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cut a square from the black paper and wrap the styrofoam.
